Bali - IndonesiaThis well known 'Island of the Gods' has amazing beaches, lush rice terraces, volcano's and world class diving

Bali project coming soon......

Bali’s enduring popularity as a ‘must go’ destination is a testament to the island’s unique character and diverse attractions. Situated in the Indonesian peninsula to the east of Java, Bali is a tropical island of exquisite natural beauty.

The incredible ying yang beaches; palm fringed white sands to the south of the island, striking black sands to the north and west, sum up the islands enigmatic character. Rice terraces gently cascade down lush green slopes fragrant with the scent of Frangipani whilst the other side of the island dramatic volcanic cliffs provide a breathtaking backdrop with amazing surf.

Bali is unique in Indonesia, it’s population overwhelmingly Hindu in a predominantly Muslim country.  Renowned for its sophisticated and diverse artistic heritage including dance, sculpture, woodcarving, handcrafts, and performing arts, Bali is teeming with cultural vibrancy.   If art is food for the soul then it’s no surprise that the local population is one of the warmest and most welcoming in the region.

One of the main draws of Bali has always been its stunning underwater attractions. The island is surrounded by coral reefs, incredibly rich in marine life and blessed with clear tropical waters that invite you to take a look below the surface. Despite having to deal with their share of global marine threats such as dynamite fishing, pollution, high visitor numbers and global warming, the reefs around Bali remain beautiful diving attractions and have many surprises to offer the marine conservation community. In 2011 a survey of Bali reefs discovered nine potentially new marine species but a worrying decline in reef sharks, prompting renewed efforts to protect and conserve this complex, mysterious and delicate paradise.
